FILMCLUB
Project Description:
FILMCLUB is a free service that brings the joy of cinema to schoolchildren all over the UK, by helping state-school teachers set up and run after-school film clubs. I worked with digital agency Airside to develop FILMCLUB’s online content, as part of a redesign of the organisation’s existing website.
The FILMCLUB website is the hub of the club, allowing members to browse an extensive DVD library, post reviews and get information about the latest events and Close Encounters with the UK industry’s finest talent.
However the existing site felt unfocused and failed to reflect FILMCLUB’s exciting brand voice. I created brand new copy for the site that helped establish a clear voice that better reflected FILMCLUB’s brand values and objectives, as well as explaining and selling the service to a targeted audience of both adults and children.
I wrote headlines, sub-headings, and taglines for the Home page, along with introductions to the club’s various features for About FILMCLUB and other pages. In addition, I created detailed content for members-only login pages.
