Project Description:
DK is an award-winning publisher specialising in illustrated reference books on a wide range of subjects including travel, science, and lifestyle.
The company asked design agency Pentagram to refresh its brand identity and the agency enlisted me to work on the tagline and brand narrative. The project involved working closely with Pentagram's creative team to develop a concept, presenting my ideas directly to the client and incorporating their feedback into subsequent rounds.
The final outcome was the new tagline "For the curious", that focuses on DK’s vision to both inspire curiosity and enable discovery. This new tagline features in some versions of the refreshed DK wordmark. In addition, I created a brand narrative based around the tagline to be used as boilerplate, website and social media copy.
